Project Manager: Help to Grow, Management UK

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in leading and managing two projects that will help to shape the careers of future creative professionals and businesses in the fashion industry.

The Project Manager will lead the planning, delivery and operations of the Help to Grow: Management UK Project, which is being delivered by London College of Fashion’s Centre for Fashion Enterprise.

The Help to Grow: Management UK programme is designed to help small to medium enterprises to increase productivity, seize investment opportunities, grow their business and contribute to the UK’s creative industries economy. It is funded by HM Government and delivered through the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS) and accredited by the Small Business Charter.

Their Key Responsibilities Will Include

The Project Manager will also lead the Centre for Fashion Enterprise SME Mentoring Project, working with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Planning, leading and delivering both projects and reporting progress to the Associate Dean of Enterprise and Fashion Business.
  • Working closely with UAL legal and finance departments to ensure that all contract negotiations with the Chartered Association of Business Schools for Help to Grow are conducted in the best interests of the college.
  • Working closely with all stakeholders to jointly deliver the recruitment targets of small to medium enterprises to the Help to Grow Project.
  • Initiating marketing materials and web content to promote the Help to Grow Project and SME Mentoring Project.
  • Ensuring both projects are high quality and client-focused to meet the projects requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensuring all finances are effectively managed so that all funding is drawdown, client sessions are efficiently scheduled and that client relationships are built and maintained.

Your profile

Experience of supporting small to medium enterprise growth is essential, along with business knowledge and commercial acumen gained inside and outside of the fashion industry.

A proven track record in leading and managing project requirements and achieving project deliverables is equally important as is a proven track record in managing finances and maintaining professional stakeholder and client relationships.
