How you’ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

Delta’s Flight Attendant Contact Experience team is responsible for managing programs that impact flight attendant satisfaction while driving process improvements to increase efficiency and address flight attendant feedback. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and track cross-functional workstreams that support IFS employee engagement initiatives.

  • Ability to manage team members and deliverables within IFS and with cross divisional partners to ensure leader visibility and engagement on key operational initiatives
  • Support the cross functional project team, drive transparency across organizations and coordination toward successful program delivery
  • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, sponsors, the enterprise, and others involved in the project
  • Motivate and manage project efforts of team members, resolve conflicts, and provide performance feedback to functional group managers.
  • Seek to continuously question and find ways to improve team and project communication and processes
  • Possesses strong program and project management skills and is a proactive self-starter who anticipates and plans for competing priorities and negotiates deliverables accordingly.
  • Has the maturity, confidence, and perspective to manage quick/unexpected transitions or conflicts to successful resolution. Must be able to challenge conventional thinking in a constructive way.
  • Develops deep, productive relationships and excels in influencing outcomes across teams and in collaborative environments.

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years work experience in a business environment, MBA preferred
  • Should possess sound organizational and planning skills, the ability to make sound business decisions leveraging data and problem-solving skills; large-scale project management experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
  • Candidates need to possess strong communication skills (verbal and written), the ability to shift easily between strategic discussions and tactical executions and be comfortable working directly with and presenting to executives
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities at any given time
  • Proficient PC skills including Excel and PowerPoint are required to solve business problems
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles
  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
