Project Manager: End Child Marriage

Coordination and lead: Lead to ensure strong coordination with Implementing partners for smooth implementation of project activities

Programme Delivery: Ensure project outcomes as quality results required by the programme (with specified risks and benefits). Develop annual workplan and budget and implement project schedule within set budgets and scope. Provide a key co-ordination and implementation role, ensuring project management standards are followed and deadlines met.

Resource Mobilisation: Ensure appropriate resource (financial and human) mobilization within inclusive Governance Programme including national and international volunteers. Support the partners, volunteers and field staff and volunteers to ensure that they are effective in their placement.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage project financial budgets and targets, providing accurate and timely information on expenditure and supports partners in implementing the project and ensures the efficient utilization of budget.

Grant Management: Work with the finance and grants team to ensure the donor compliance of any grant contractual obligations. Effectively manage donor grant allocated to project. Support and work closely with Donor Compliance specialist to develop and accomplish the reporting requirements.

Stakeholder Management and Communications: Build effective working relationships with project stakeholders, engaging them at each project implementation stage and ensure effective communications at all levels. Ensure organisational communications about project benefits, progress and outcomes on timely manner. Anticipate project risks and issues, communicating them to stakeholders, taking action to resolve them.

Donor Communications: Ensure Donor communications and external reporting as and when required and as per the grant compliance

Championing Change: Inspire enthusiasm, momentum and commitment for outcomes project will deliver.

Internal Reporting: Prepare project report to submit to UNFPA and donor and ensure project activity, outcome progress, issues, risks, exception reports are available to Stakeholders and management teams as and when appropriate.

Representation: Represent VSO Bangladesh in different forums when and as applicable acts as the bridge between field implementation and VSO’s country/regional and global program teams.
