Project Manager

Would you like the opportunity manage one or more projects within the Future Combat Air Support (FCAS) Acquisition Programme (AP)? We currently have a vacancy for a Project Manager at our site in Warton with opportunities to also work remotely.

You will be managing one or more Infrastructure Projects in support of FCAS AP Mobilisation, reporting to the Project Lead. You will be accountable for their deliverables calling on the wider IM&T resource(s) within Air as necessary.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to expand your skills and liaise with our military customers to develop solutions and people.

Your Main Responsibilities As a Project Manager Will Involve

Becoming a reliable and efficient IM&T focus point for the FCAS Community

Delivering one or more Infrastructure projects from a IM&T perspective, to time, cost and quality

Delivering any discrete tasks required of them in support of FCAS AP mobilisation

Providing a responsive service to the FCAS Community through dealing promptly with problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned and the collection and dissemination of relevant information

Demonstrating stakeholder management skills to achieve objectives

Assisting in the development of new or improved practices and organisational processes or standards and facilitates localised improvements to the quality system or services

Adhering to company policies and procedures

Essential

Your skills and qualifications:

PM accreditation or proof of working towards a PM accreditation

Evidence of successful delivery of projects

Atlassian toolset experience

Desirable

Team Leader/mentor experience

You should be personable and comfortable dealing with internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to lead, motivate and develop people. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be a great team player who is highly goal driven.

Location: Warton/Hybrid

Salary: £46,028+
