We are recruiting IT Project Managers to work across a range of Accounts within the Application Delivery Service Line and are looking for individuals with a proven track record of Project Delivery. You will be leading one or more medium sized projects with low to moderate complexity initially within our Rolls Royce Account, and assisting in managing aspects of larger programs as needed.
Please, note we are looking for UK based candidate that is eligible for Security Clearance (or holds one)
Responsibilities
- Manages customer project delivery.
- Revenue as detailed in Impact section.
- Large/ moderately complex/ local or sub- region.
- Medium/ high risk.
- Medium complexity legal and commercial issues.
- Manages project financials including P&L.
- Meets or exceeds SOAR approved budgets.
- Provides reliable financial forecasts to the management.
- Manages business development.
- Identifies and develops new opportunities on current project.
- Supports qualification and opportunity assessment for large and moderately complex opportunities.
- Acts as opportunity manager for medium to high risk deals.
- Manages client relationships.
- Manages mid to upper level client delivery relationships.
- Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.
- Manages project team.
- Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size less than 20 people.
- Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members.
- Provides performance review input and indication of area of development for team members.
Education And Experience Required
- Bachelors University degree.
- 5 years’ experience in project management or in like roles/businesses.
Knowledge And Skills
- This is a highly visible customer facing role requiring considerable specialised knowledge and experience in application pilots’ plans, with large financial and reputational consequences if these activities go wrong.
- Strong project management skills
- Understanding of pilots (applications)
- Be able to drive a plan through for multiple releases running in parallel
- Ability to work with DXC Technical, DXC Management, Customer, and 3rd parties to help develop detailed, minute by minute cutover plans
- Oracle PM knowledge would be desirable as the programme is Oracle and DXC Warehouse Management System
- Be able to hold conversations with Management, application, testing, business change and support teams to ensure the DXC technical cutover plan covers all aspects
- Testing Project Management
- Ability to work with DXC testing, DXC Technical, DXC Management, Customer, and 3rd parties to help develop detailed schedules for the end-to-end testing
