The Philippine Red Cross is hiring for a Project Manager who is responsible for the close monitoring and coordination with the departments covered by the Red Ready project. The Project Manager should ensure that the project finances are well accounted and project targets are achieved in line with the project workplan.

Project Management

• Plan and execute multiple, often quick-turnaround actions
• Prepare and submit weekly situation and accomplishment report to the Operations Head and Movement Coordinator
• Facilitate requirements and make recommendation for project activities
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the activity to determine more areas for improvement and best practices
• Organize the project ream for maximization of resources, information dissemination and implementation
• Ensure timely submission of necessary information and reports to the National Headquarters
• Develop and maintain critical path activities in which the Red Ready Focal Person and PRC Management of project status and variation from schedule or scope
• Ensure close monitoring of project finances and compliance to PRC policies in project implementation and accounting procedures

Communication and Coordination

• Coordinate with project focal persons and project officers for the effective implementation of project activities in accordance with project workplan
• Guide the subordinates and provides open communication and feedbacking
• Work with partners and appropriate stakeholders for efficient project implementation
• Represent the Red Ready Focal Person or PRC in meetings and events related to the project

Others

• Perform such other duties and functions as may be assigned within their capacity relative to the requirements of the project

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree holder
• Minimum of 2 years experience working on project management and development
• 2 years experience as a PRC Volunteer is an advantage
• Willing to work onsite at Mandaluyong
