A fantastic opportunity to join our team on the Leonardo project in Yeovil.

Your Role

The Project Management Office Coordinator will lead/contribute to the production of KN project documents through the various gate stages and provide support to both the Programme Manager and Implementation Manager with regards to the tools, methodology and governance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Utilise KN project management tools (ProjEx & Customer Transition and Integration Toolbox) and Microsoft Project to support the teams with project planning and successful achievement of sign off through the KN gate process
  • Provide reporting & governance to support the Programme
  • Develop process improvements where possible to support the Programme Manager and Workstream Leads
  • Liaise with key support functions and work stream leads to facilitate two-way communication on project status
  • Assist with the tracking of project budgets and recharges
  • The delivery of plans and reporting in a timely manner, to deadlines set externally is a key aspect of the role
  • The role holder will be required to use their own initiative to escalate issues and seek out solutions to potential project communication blockers
  • Ability to track project spend in conjunction with KN Finance and the Customer Onboarding team and to track and report on internal and external charges for project team members
  • Ability to track and report on 3rd party contractors that are employed from time to time to support the programme

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Degree level desirable, A levels or equivalent qualification minimum
  • Min. 5 years’ experience of project support and/or bid development in a commercial organisation
  • Experienced user of Microsoft office software, including Microsoft Project – Able to train others
  • Recognized Project Management qualification is desirable
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Demonstrable experience of influencing without formal authority in virtual teams is required
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate at all levels inside & outside of the organisation
  • Ability to escalate and delegate effectively
  • Experience of working within a matrix organization (UK and internationally) is desirable
