General Description of the Organization:

Ghiras Al-Nahda is a Nonprofit Non-governmental humanitarian organization working to empower people through fulfilling their basic needs and seeking to improve community stability and resilience.

Job Purpose:

Field supervision and follow-up of the project’s activities through preparing plans and monitoring the progress of the project according to the project plan, preparing reports for all phases of the project, in addition to coordination and correspondence between the supporting departments in the field.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Field supervision and follow-up of protection and education activities, which include formal and informal education, psychosocial support, and specialized protection activities.
  • Preparing BoQ for the running cost expenses needs of child riendly spaces and schools.
  • Ensuring the quality of the services/materials provided and signing the works completion reports, in addition to following up the work of Suppliers.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports and submitting them to the team leader as well as identifying lessons learned and challenges.
  • Ensure the implementation of project activities according to the work plan and ensure the safety of workers.
  • Work to solve problems and overcome obstacles that may appear during the project stages.
  • Develop proposals to improve work performance and the ability to manage the work team internally according to the specified schedule.
  • Participate in needs assessments and data collection.
  • Coordinating with field monitors and facilitating their work to implement the project work plan.
  • Participate in coordinating with analyst officials to ensure the progress of project activities.
  • Ensure that all project documents are archived and preserved.
  • Ensure the validity of data received from the field.
  • Monitor the qualitative and quantitative delivery of goods and materials.
  • Supervise the distribution operations and ensure that the operations are carried out according to the project plan.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the Code of Conduct, Humanitarian Principles, Gender-Based Violence Minimum Standards, and Child Protection Minimum Standards

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • University degree in social science, Child Studies, Literature, or equivalent.
  • At least three years of professional experience in the same position.
  • Join advanced training courses in management, protection, and education.
  • Knowledgeable in the context of NGO work.

Required skills:

  • Good level of expression orally and in writing in Arabic and preferably English.
  • Microsoft 365 skills, especially Word, Excel and OneDrive.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team spirit.
  • Possesses the ability to organize time and set priorities.
