About SENED
Sened is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2013 and registered in Turkey with No. 27-15-175; It arose in response to the suffering of Syrian refugees in Turkey & internally displaced persons in Syria as a result of the war waged by the Syrian regime on its own people and torn apart the entire country. Sened works through the humanitarian work sectors to empower persons with disabilities, their families and communities, advocate for their issues and include their voice in their communities. Sened has become a specialized NGO in the field of working with persons with disabilities and their families since 2015. It takes the aspirations of the founders, persons with disabilities and their families, and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) as a compass for its work.

Job Purpose:
To assist in the implementation of all assigned projects in Turkey and ensure their execution within time, budget and quality.

Key Activities/Tasks/Duties

  • Participate as required in project kick-off, close-out and review meetings. Ensure documentation and follow up of action points in a timely manner.
  • Follow-up on the implementation of required activities on a daily manner. This includes directing activities, avoiding mistakes, and receiving and submitting projects reports.
  • Prepare, develop and review the reports to be submitted to donors. These could include daily, weekly, quarterly, progress and final reports.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the other project team members and follow up the implementation of activities with them.
  • Prepare weekly implementation work plans and follow up the implementation with the field team.
  • Participate in the offers opening, and procurement committee to evaluate the competing bids and help choose the winning bid.
  • Follow-up on project implementation in collaboration and coordination with other members of the field work team
  • Verify the received documents and ensure the potential beneficiaries comply with the required standards to benefit from the project.
  • Coordinate payments and raise the necessary purchase requests during the project period.
  • Deal with the required government entities within the project scope, such as municipalities.
  • Submit a handover report at the end of the contract.
  • Any other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisor/line manager.

Required Qualifications (Education/Languages/Work Experience):
Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar.
  • Advanced skills in Turkish language.
  • Intermediate skills in the Arabic and English language.
  • Turkish Nationality is a must.

Desirable

  • Certified PMD Pro1 & PMD Pro 2.
  • Verified experience in humanitarian work and principles.
  • Verified experience in dealing with donor’s policies, procedures, requirements and compliance.
