World Vision Timor-Leste began its first project in Aileu municipality in 1995, and opened its national office in Dili in 1999. P2P – Healthy Relationships for a Violence-Free Future Project is funded by USAID. They will participate in activities to improve relationships with their peers and parents, and promote peace-building and active citizenship. The second outcome focuses on young parents increasing caregiving responsibilities and gender-equitable and non-discriminatory relationships within their families. Young fathers, in particular, will be supported to demonstrate positive masculinity. The third outcome focuses on ensuring survivors of GBV receive appropriate response and referral from healthcare workers. The fourth outcome focuses on GBV response (formal and informal) strengthening and coordination at the local level.
