Overview

Yves Meppiel’s six-strong Automation Consultant team uses its project experience and automation knowledge to develop and program new customer-specific solutions. Our customers are mainly active in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors and are predominantly located in Switzerland. In this role, you will work on very diverse and interesting customer projects, be it a new automation environment for a complete production plant or an upgrade of an existing plant, for example because the requirements have changed. Through these customer projects and the unique combination of customer contact, product development, cost estimation, quotation preparation, price negotiations and project execution, you can constantly develop yourself further.

Responsibilities

  • Clarification of customer requirements and preparation of customer-specific solutions and quotations
  • Concept creation and layout & design of automation and process control systems and OT infrastructure (servers, networks)
  • Creation of qualification documents and documentation
  • Programming automation and process control systems
  • Carrying out system tests and commissioning
  • Assumption of project manager functions with appropriate experience

Hardskills

  • Technical vocational training and university degree HF/FH
  • Several years of experience in programming automation and process control systems is required (preferably Siemens and Zenon)
  • Experience in the OT area: networks, servers and virtualization (e.g. ESXi)
  • Experience in EMSR planning
  • Experience in project management in the life science or chemical sector is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in the area of GxP /CSV is an advantage
  • Good German and very good English skills
