The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the management of Al-Ghad Child Protection Program in Deyala . S/he will be responsible for ensuring professional Child Protection good practices in conformity with national and global guidelines including the Child Protection Minimum Standards in the implemented project are adhered to. S/he will also conduct reports, monitoring and evaluation of the project and report directly to the Head of Programmes .S/he is responsible for the direct implementation and supervision of the Child Protection project.������
Main responsibilities:

Leading the design, supervision and implementation of activities in all project locations, in accordance with multiple objectives, activities and targets outlined within current donor proposals and in line with projects��������� budget.
Ensure the proper implementation, supervision, and monitoring of the project activities (Child Protection assessments, Case Management, PSS and awareness raising) by drawing preciseans, including setting the objectives, workplans and activity timetable in order to achieve project results.
In Close collaboration with Protection Technical Unit, s/he will develop overall project implementation strategy, systems, approaches, tools, and materials and will adapt project activities to the Covid-19 context if there is a surge in the pandemic;.
Assesses the effectiveness of child protection activities throughout the project, using Monitoring & Evaluation tools.
Proposes any relevant change of strategy or implementation change if needed.
Organizes regular meetings with the team to ensure the continuity of good practices in project implementation and coordination amongst the teams.
Lead the initial Child Protection assessment as well as selection and registration of beneficiaries, according to set vulnerability criteria and initial assessment.
Takes the lead on all performance management tasks, including but not limited to: monthly support meetings to all staff (facilitated by their line manager); performance evaluations conducted over the course of the project; day-to-day support as needed.
Ensure data quality management and proper channels of data verification and record keeping;
Ensure correct data protection procedures and filing;
Upon completion of the assignment, submit a complete and detailed handover report;
Works in close collaboration and consultation with the Head of Programs and CP Specialist.
Works in close collaboration and consultation with available government structures, non-government actors, cluster system,s and community representatives in Deyala and neighboring locations.
Represents Al-Ghad in fora and meetings held at community and local levels.
She/he regularly attends and actively participates to the dedicated clusters (Protection/CP).
Develop������and maintains good professional relationships with the different national ministries (MoLSA, DoSA, MoE, DoE), UN Agencies, & NGOs (national & internationa Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences or similar Humanities Degree.
Minimum of 3 years management level working in experience related Child Protection Project Management with NGO or INGO.
Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English is essential.
Quality Team Management and Team Leader Skills.
Management capacity and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strongly diplomatic and capable of leading on difficult mediation and negotiations;
Solid programmatic, organizational planning and reporting skills;
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (with focus on Excel, Word and PowerPoint); Application process and deadline:
