Job Summary

As a Data Management Project Assistant, you will support data management processes for a specific project supporting refugees in Greece. You will practice efficient ways to organize, store and analyze data with attention to security and confidentiality. In this position you will perform various data cleaning tasks and act as a focal point regarding the preparation of the payment requests regarding rental subsidies for beneficiaries of international protection.

Job Responsibilities

· Support programming activities, including preparing beneficiary rental subsidy payment requests.

· Act as a focal point between Integration Learning Centers and Helpline for the collection of supporting documentation regarding rental payments.

· Support the implementation of all assigned project activities as outlined in the detailed implementation plan in line with CRS program quality principles and standards, donor requirements, and good practices.

· Provide support in data reporting.

· Verify data into the existing database systems.

· Assist with regular data review and cleanup to maintain overall data integrity.

· Support to strengthen good quality data collection, management, analysis for the project to best meet the information needs of beneficiaries and to improve programming on an ongoing basis.

· Ensure client-centric approach to beneficiary requests.

· Perform other duties as per request by the Senior Data Management officer.

Typical Background, Experience & Requirements

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree required. Technical background is considered an asset.

· Minimum of 1-3 year of work experience in project support. Experience in the field of humanitarian programming and for an NGO would be a plus.

· Additional education may substitute for some experience.

· Experience in participatory action planning and community engagement.

· Experience in monitoring projects and collecting relevant data preferred.

· Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

· Experience with VLookups data sorting and filtering in Microsoft Excel preferred.

Personal Skills

· Observation, active listening, and analysis skills with ability to make sound judgment.

· Good relationship management skills and the ability to work closely with local partners and community members.

· Attention to details, accuracy, and timeliness in executing assigned responsibilities.

· Proactive, results-oriented, and service-oriented.

Required Languages: Greek and English.

Travel: Non expected.

Internal: Integration Project Team.

External: Caritas Partners.
