This position will work together with the Operations Manager for sourcing and purchasing the materials, supplies, equipment, and services that Americares Philippines needs to operate. S/he will commonly work with vendors, suppliers, and other third-party service providers to ensure the company will get the best possible value.

This position will work together with the project coordinator in Veruela, Agusan del Sur to improve maternal health outcomes. S/he will serve as the focal person of Americares in the Municipality of Veruela to ensure that all the plans, programs, and activities are set forth in the Municipality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement and General Service Management
  • Assist in organizing transportation activities and vehicle request of programs
  • Gather and review quotations using comparative bids analysis (CBA) framework
  • Review request, and purchase order information to ensure compliance with Americares Procurement Policy
  • Coordinating with other departments such as but not limited to Programs, Finance, and Access to Medicine / Warehouse Department
  • Maintain records of quotations, bids, and assist in generating accepted vendor list
  • Coordinating with suppliers to review product samples (in coordination with requesting program), discuss delivery schedules, and resolve together with the quality control team regarding quality or quantity of goods
  • Interacting with suppliers and vendors to ensure that orders are filled out, and on time
  1. Administrative
  • Facilitate shipping of supplies and equipment to project area

  • Conduct proper and efficient filing system of all administrative, and office transaction documents

  • Assists liaison of communication letters, and other related coordination to project areas as needed
