Here’s where you come in:

As the Programs Quality Director for World Vision International in Cambodia (WVI-C), you will lead the deliverables of the Program Quality team and ensure close collaboration with cross-function team. You will manage seven (7) direct reports (technical leads, disaster management, DME, team assistant and potentially two new advisors on climate resilience and GEDSI) with a total of 25+ team members at national office and field offices.

You will also represent WVI-C in external engagement, particularly in leading efforts to promote WVI-C’s good practices potentially to be scaled-up at national level, to work with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and technical leads in key activities on policy influencing and resources acquisitions (pre-positioning), and to facilitate learnings and collaborations with other technical leads of donors, technical ministers and peer local/international organisations towards the realisation of the well-being of children especially the most vulnerable ones.

Requirements include:

  • Master’s degree in International Development, Public/Social Policy, Research, Environment Management, or Social Science or a related field applicable to lead programs quality team

  • At least 7 years of working in the relevant leadership/managerial position in leading programs quality or implementation team, preferably in Cambodia or South East Asia region.

  • Familiar with child focused, multi-sectoral and integrated development programs. Similar experiences leading and implementing multi-sector in World Vision is an advantage.

  • Proven analytical skills and relevant experience in facilitating or leading program design and evaluation; long term programs plan and strategy development; and streamlining or developing cohesive monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning system in local/or international organizations.

  • Relevant experience on external engagement including with governments and donors for project initiation and maximising the impact on child well-being.

  • Good knowledge of standards and requirement of bilateral and multi-laterals donors.
