Takaful Al Sham (TAS) has been responding to the Syrian crisis since 2012 and to the Refugee Response in Turkiye since 2013. Role Purpose:

The Programs Information Officer is a member of the program and project
management team. In their role, they are responsible for organizing and
managing information and data related to programs and projects, providing
technical and informational support to project managers. They also offer
support to program management in meetings and contribute to creating
templates and tracking files for archiving purposes.
The position requires a combination of organizational and analytical skills,
along with the ability to utilize technological tools to create Dash-boards for
monitoring program and project indicators effectively and organizing
program information.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIE
• Organizing and Managing Information: Collecting, categorizing, and maintaining
information and data related to programs and projects in an organized and systematic
manner.
• Dashboard Creation: Using technological tools and software to develop digital
interfaces (dashboards) for tracking program and project indicators effectively.
• Providing Support: Offering technical and informational support to project managers
and program management teams, assisting in data analysis and report generation.
• Meeting Support: Assisting program management in meetings, which may include
preparing materials, recording minutes, and contributing to discussions.

• Documentation and Archiving: Creating and maintaining templates, tracking files, and
archives for easy access to historical program and project information.
• Report and Analytics: Prepare regular reports summarizing program and project
performance and provide detailed analysis of significant trends and developments.
These reports should be understandable to non-specialists.
• Key Performance Indicator Monitoring: Track and monitor key performance indicators
for programs and projects to ensure the achievement of predefined goals and outputs.
• Team Training: Guide and train team members on how to use technological tools and
effective practices in information management.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure the application of information and data security and
compliance standards and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Project Management,
Information Technology, or Business Management.
• In-depth understanding of information and data management concepts and tools.
• Proficiency in information management software and databases.
• The ability to use software for data analysis, report generation, and understanding data
security and compliance.
• Familiarity with document management systems and databases to efficiently organize
and store information and data. For example, SharePoint.
• Proficiency in data analysis and effective handling of numerical data.
• The ability to interpret data and derive strategic insights.
• Strong communication skills to interact with various teams and partner organizations.
• The ability to present reports and deliver effective presentations.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with and adherence to humanitarian standards
• The ability to use data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or Power BI for
effective data understanding and analysis.
• Very Good level of English
Desirable:
• Experience at least 6 months in humanitarian work field
• PMD Pro1 training certificate

• Using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello to organize
and track project progress.
• Using Smartsheet, Google Data Studio
