We are recruiting for an experienced Programme Manager to join Mary’s Meals International. In this exciting new role, you will have responsibility for governing and coordinating our integrated programmes of work and supporting our overarching strategic objectives as we strive to reach the next child waiting for Mary’s Meals.

Reporting to our Head of IT, you will have the opportunity to build our new Project Management Office, guiding our project managers and leaders in the planning, delivery and governance of our key projects across the MM family. You will be responsible for providing governance across a varied portfolio of global projects, including digital transformation, CRM implementation, workforce planning and payroll review. As a Project Management expert with good experience of Agile methodologies, you will have the opportunity to support and guide project managers and stakeholders in best practice and ensure a strong focus on stewardship, service and simplicity. This is a truly global role and an amazing opportunity to utilise your skills and experience to create real impact across our global movement. We are happy for you to work remotely and there may be a requirement for some travel to countries where Mary’s Meals operates, as part of your role.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing consistent standards, procedures, templates and guidance for successful project delivery.
  • Working closely with stakeholders and project & team managers to coach and develop strategies for effective project planning, monitoring and delivery.
  • Working alongside others to coach, define and implement the governance framework for projects.
  • Ensuring that MMI’s Agile delivery methodology is embedded and deployed across the programme.
  • Managing Steering Committee Meetings or supporting Project Managers in the facilitation of these meetings.
  • Consolidated reporting of progress across the consolidated portfolio of projects.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to review project requirements and progress in line with overarching organisational objectives and strategic changes.
  • Seeking continual improvement of the PMO function, including recruiting, and developing team members.
  • Identifying areas for process and organisational improvement and making recommendations to senior stakeholders.

With extensive experience of Programme Management, you will bring a wealth of experience of working with stakeholders and leading a variety of large complex projects. With proven people leadership experience, you will bring robust experience of resourcing projects, developing, and managing relationships and coaching those around you, to share your knowledge and build capacity across the Mary’s Meals family.

We’re looking for someone who brings a relevant qualification in Project Management or Agile methodology and it would be great if you also have experience of working with CRM solutions and digital transformation projects. You will be inspired by our work and will strive to maximise all resources and drive efficiencies and process improvements to ensure fantastic return on investment and to challenge the status quo, to ensure we deliver on time and on budget.
