Programme Manager Location: UK flexible Contract type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract Hours per week: 35

Salary: Up to £54,000 per annum, dependent on experience (Including Inner London Weighting of £3,344 where applicable)

The British Red Cross has embarked on an ambitious transformation to build a sustainable organization and ensure we’re ‘Fit for the Future’ to deliver our 2030 strategy. As part of this programme of change, this role will help us transform the way we fundraise by leading the design and implementation of a new target operating model for marketing.

What you’ll be doing…

As Programme Manager you will lead a strategically significant project focused on designing and implementing our marketing operating model. You will be working at all levels across the organisation, managing relationships with senior leaders (Heads, Directors and Executive Directors) to co-create solutions.

You will be responsible for a complex project that involves transformational change, including significant process and OD related change. As such you will have a strong understanding of how to manage these dimensions, including process mapping.

What we are looking for…

– You will have substantial experience of successfully managing large and complex projects or programmes delivering significant change, including an understanding of process design and organisational design. – You’ll be working in a complex stakeholder environment and you’ll need the experience and gravitas to work with and manage stakeholders at the most senior level. You should have experience of successfully navigating situations where stakeholders have different views. – You will ideally have considerable direct experience in a marketing and public fundraising context, and at the very least some experience of marketing, as you will be leading and facilitating discussions with subject matter experts.
