MI has been registered in Türkiye since 2014 and has since built up its own office structure. MI now has two offices in southeastern Türkiye (Kilis and Gaziantep). The Malteser International team provides technical guidance and oversees management and administration of the partner-implemented projects in Türkiye and Northern Syria. MI is responsible for the procurement of the main medical supplies in Türkiye, the reporting and application as well as the quality assurance. In addition to the implementation of humanitarian and transitional aid projects, Malteser International´s strategic objective is the strengthening of the civil society structures in Türkiye and Syria. Malteser International focuses in Northwestern Syria and Türkiye on the sectors of health, livelihood, protection as well as social cohesion.

For its work in Northwestern Syria and Türkiye, Malteser International is looking for a motivated Program Quality Coordinator.

As the Program Quality Coordinator, you will support Malteser International and our implementing partners in Northwestern Syria and Türkiye in all topics around program quality, program development, partnership support, as well as technical health support.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program quality assurance framework, including indicators, tools, and guidelines
  • Lead proposal and concept note development processes, ensuring high quality standards are integrated
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the program team to ensure that program activities are aligned with quality standards and indicators
  • Supervise the Monitoring & Evaluation team to develop and implement appropriate monitoring tools and systems and facilitate internal and external program reviews and learning events to promote knowledge sharing and dissemination of best practices
  • Lead the partnership management, including partnership assessments and capacity development plans
  • Supervise the advocacy and communication team to ensure effective communication of program achievements and lessons learned
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to ensure the integration of cross-cutting issues such as gender, protection, and accountability in all programs

Your profile:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar positions or duties
  • Experience in project management and working collaboratively with a team
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Kobo toolbox, Power BI, and data collection tools required
  • Fluent in English both in written and spoken skills; in addition, Arabic skills will be highly preferred
  • Eligible, able, and willing to travel to project areas in northwest Syria depending on the security situation and requirements of the organization
