POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Program Manager who will plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various health promotion and medical programs implemented by MedGlobal Sudan. This position requires a passionate, experienced, and dedicated individual who can lead and coordinate efforts to ensure the successful delivery of vital services to communities in need.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Program Planning and Development:
    • Collaborate with the Country Representative & Director of Programs to design, develop, and implement strategic program plans to achieve organizational goals.
    • Identify program priorities, set objectives, and create detailed work plans.
  2. Project Management:
    • Lead and oversee the execution of multiple health education and medical programs.
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
    • Monitor and evaluate program progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
  3. Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, including coordinators, educators, and medical professionals.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, providing guidance and support to staff members.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Establish and maintain partnerships with local and international stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
    • Engage with beneficiaries to gather feedback and insights, ensuring program relevance and effectiveness.
  5. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring proper allocation of resources to meet program goals.
    • Monitor expenses, prepare financial reports, and seek funding opportunities to sustain program operations.
  6. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Generate regular reports on program activities, progress, and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of program data and impact.
  7. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and maintain high-quality standards for healthcare and education services.
    • Evaluate and improve program activities to ensure they meet best practices and international standards.
  8. Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and challenges in program implementation and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
    • Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen issues.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, International Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in program management within the non-profit sector, with a strong focus on health education and medical services.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and evaluation.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building partnerships and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the humanitarian and global health context.
  • Knowledge of donor requirements and grant management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
  • Must Be Sudanese Nationality.
