The team ensures that all books listed on Amazon’s websites satisfy legal requirements and do not violate internal policies. The CRM Automation team creates processes to proactively identify non-compliant books for the purposes of blocking, re-categorizing, or otherwise restricting books using Rule based matching system. We work side by side with the product family and platform developers to maintain and improve functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Use Programming Languages to develop features / detection methods within the existing framework to solve for new use cases
- Use SQL, Excel and other data manipulation languages to deep dive into large data sets, identify patterns and gap areas
- Maintenance and enhancement of Rule based matching system in line with changing business needs.
- Work independently to utilize metrics and determine improvement opportunities and subsequently implement them through Rules, policy and operational changes.
- Assess performance of internal systems; unearth insights that can be used to drive improvements and surface exceptions to the respective teams.

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in program or project management
- 2+ years hands on experience in modern program languages, preferably in a software environment with Java/J2EE/Python experience
- Experience with database concepts (e.g., Redshift, DynamoDB) and querying languages (SQL)
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools, writing and tuning SQL scripts
- Requires support for US time ( 3 PM to 12 PM IST )
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with technology teams with a good understanding of change management, support tickets and application infrastructure
- Experience in handling high impact incidents, perform pattern, root cause analysis and drive to logical decision-making
- Understanding of modern Cloud infrastructure, programming expertise, operational experience, and a desire to change the status quo
- Strong understanding of support processes – SLA, handling tickets, monitoring, processes and metrics.
- Well rounded experience with monitoring systems and dashboards
