SOSi is seeking an In-Country Program Manager to support a large Base Operations Support (BOS) program providing logistics and life support services to our U.S. government customer in Iraq. The ideal candidate will have experience working on other large BOS and life support programs in contingency environments.
- Conduct extensive interaction with technical and administrative personnel from the Government and other teamed companies.
- Act as the first Point of Contact (POC) for contractual or administrative questions or difficulties that arise related to the contract, interfacing with the COTR, and Government leadership on a daily basis.
- Oversee the management and implementation of the Program Management Plan.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for formal discussions with the customers and the Government, including frequent customer interaction with the intent to sustain and improve customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the coordination of work priorities and monitoring of methods, procedures, and programs.
- Recommend, develop, implement, establish and enforce procedures and programs to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness to the program.
- Key responsibilities on contract performance include adherence to company and government processes, regulations, and statutes.
- Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
- Instruct staff in company work policies and procedures.
- Review work orders and work order reports to ensure the tasks are completed on-time and inspects the projects to ensure all work is accomplished per the SOW.
- Confers with staff in order to resolve performance and personnel problems.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited U.S. college or university; experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- 15 years of experience in related life support services and/or logistics management, with a minimum of 5 years experience in providing such services to large facilities or operations overseas in a contingency environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of project management.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and collaboration in diverse environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.

- Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Excellent demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.
