    Job Title overview

    Tasks in this function focus on the planning, development, facilitation, implementation, evaluation, and administration of an educational program and initiative in psychiatry in Northwest of Syria (NWS) to increase and enhance educational learning. contracting services and developing budgets.

Job Title Definition:

The Program Coordinator provides support and assistance in the identification, development, and delivery of the psychiatry specialty educational program; duties include (but are not limited to) support of internal/external stakeholders, managing of routine program logistics, participation in activities, use of electronic communications and technology, preparation of reports and program documentation, support of budget activities and data collection/input activities.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide program logistics/maintenance requirements or activities to ensure the quality of programs.
  • Provide support to program functions including tracking data, maintaining records, assisting with budget management, processing documentation, and assisting with communications
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and participate in discussions between cross-collaborative teams
  • Process all course/program registrations.
  • Contribute Developing and maintaining relationships with various external businesses, organizations, and other entities, keeping these stakeholders informed of programs and address any questions/concerns
  • Compile and prepare periodic reports; evaluate program budgets/income
  • Coordinate with the main partners to ensure timely publication and dissemination of materials
  • Assist in coordinating budget preparation, monitor budgets, budget projections, analyze data, and initiate payments
  • Coordinate the recruitment and hiring of instructors/presenters
  • Serve as primary contact for external marketing; oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, advertising, etc.
  • Make recommendations on changes/additions to both policies and portfolio of offerings based on customer feedback, evaluations, historical data, and systems capabilities.
  • Organize the partners/stakeholders’ meetings
  • Contribute developing layout and format of project-related documents, brochures, reports, and conference/meeting materials
  • Follow up and update web pages; format documents and text for website
  • Assist in delivering training, programs, courses, etc.
  • Participate on campus and college committees, at community events, meetings, and affiliated activities
  • Create reports and program documentation
  • Represent unit at internal and external meetings with stakeholders, and public information events.

Required qualifications:

  • Associate or relevant higher education degree ( B.A and above ), with an equivalent combination of education
  • experience: 1+ years of experience in a similar position required)
  • Turkish nationality is required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • · Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
  • · Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events.
  • · Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • · Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • · Records maintenance skills.
  • · Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures.
  • · Knowledge of communication principles.
  • · Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.
  • · Advanced writing and editorial skills.
