Who We Are

IREX is a global development and education organization. We strive for a more just, prosperous, and inclusive world—where individuals reach their full potential, governments serve their people, and communities thrive. With a projected annual portfolio of more than $100 million and more than 600 staff worldwide, we work with partners in more than 100 countries in four areas essential to progress: cultivating leaders, empowering youth, strengthening institutions, and increasing access to quality education and information.

IREX seeks Program Associate(s) to support Fulbright Teacher Exchanges, programs of the U.S. Department of State, funded by the U.S. Congress. Through these professional learning programs, elementary and secondary educators, in the United States and around the world, develop their educational practice and bring global knowledge, skills and perspectives to their schools.

The Fulbright Teacher Exchanges are seeking two candidates for the Program Associate role. The Program Associate may support programs for U.S. teachers and/or overall communications efforts, alumni engagement, and public outreach initiatives for the suite of Fulbright Teacher Exchanges. They will contribute to a robust communications strategy that routinely amplifies the successes of the diverse network of Fulbright Teachers. Areas of work may include program administration and support, compliance, alumni and partner engagement, strategic communications, research, technology and virtual platform support, and event logistics support.

We are doers. Our decades of on-the-ground experience help us create greater impact, practical recommendations, and lasting partnerships.
