Program Assistant

Availability to start: As soon as possible. Turkish Nationality is an Advantage.

Takaful Al Sham Charity is a non-governmental civil society organization devoted to alleviating the suffering and improving the sustainability mechanisms of conflict-affected population. Takaful Al Sham Charity partners directly with affected Syrian populations delivering humanitarian and development programs, Livelihood, Education, and Protection, to enable them to improve their living practices and their sustainability mechanisms.

•Assist in implementation of project activities in accordance with the work plan.

• Prepare administrative documents, collect and compile inputs to documents.

• Prepare and produce project data and assist project team to prepare plans

• Drafting routine correspondence for project implementation

• Assist in procurement processes for conference/seminar services or other procurement actions foreseen in projects.

• Collect, compile and organize background materials, documents and other materials for meetings.

• Compile project reports and collect them and ensure that it in line with workplan, prepare, save, and archive documents

• Assist in the preparation and check of technical specifications books

• Assist in checking and preparing bills of quantities

• Checking and analyzing the needs assessment files by applying the standards of the Takaful Al-Sham Organization

• Checking, printing, and calculating the quantities of engineering drawings files

• Monitoring and reporting on WASH/SNFI activities and ensuring that are in line with the technical conditions and standards of the Takaful Organization of Al-Sham, the donor, and the clusters

• Monitor daily activity tracking forms and report any malfunctions

• Assist in follow-up training beneficiaries and CRC committee

• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the business, project information, personnel information, data of the Takaful Al-Sham Organization

• Respect and apply all principles of protection from sexual exploitation and abuse, and demonstrate a high commitment to reporting any incident of sexual exploitation and sexual abuse

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• BSc in civil/architectural engineering

• Proficiency in office software and the Internet

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

• Good organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Familiarity with and adherence to humanitarian standards

• Very Good level of English

Desirable:

• Previous training experience in engineering works

• Proficiency in working on engineering programs

• Experience at least 6 months in humanitarian work field

• PMD Pro1 training and certificate
