Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Tracks, reports, and provides status on initiatives and projects to the executive team and Tribal leadership on a timely basis, as well as utilizes cross-organizational communication to help ensure strategic alignment.
- Works collaboratively with the Director of Executive Program Management and Program Manager to support initiatives/projects directly managed by the OCEO and/or department teams.
- Develops an overall understanding of the initiatives/projects in order to understand the scope, benefits, and dependencies, in addition to leveraging institutional knowledge to identify creative ways to achieve strategic initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Mathematics, or related field required; Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of directly related experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above.
- Experience with data visualization, reporting & dash boarding tools. Experience with SmartSheet preferred.
- Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with MS Project and/or comparable project management tools.
- Ability to synthesize data from multiple streams of information and collection platforms to potential opportunities
- Ability to work in an ambiguous, flexible, fast-paced, environment and succeed as a self-starter and individual contributor, with minimal direct supervision.
- Able to conduct open source research and synthesize complex topics into succinct written and oral briefing material for executives.
- Employee must have experience demonstrating the utmost discretion and confidentiality, as they will have access to confidential information.
- Displays exceptional judgment, emotional intelligence, personal integrity, and the ability to drive results while demonstrating strict professional decorum.
- Must maintain a strict level of confidentiality and act in a manner consistent with all legal and regulatory requirements and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Must be personable and professional, capable of using caution and discretion in communication.
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
- At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
- A qualified candidate/employee must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the company’s insurance carrier.
