Production Planning Internship

As a Production Planning Intern you’ll get the opportunity to put your unique fingerprint on the Manufacturing and Materials experience at Northern. You’ll be an active member of the growing Planning Team that is building creative solutions on the Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. We are a team that champions change, removes roadblocks and builds a culture where everyone can win together!

Some of the responsibilities will include: 

• Forecast analysis
• Review of sales forecast and inventory targets
• Capacity review
• Plan creation and deploy
• D365 system maintenance
• Forecast deployment
• After production updates
• JDE system updates to match D365

What We Look For In Our Interns

• Must be enrolled or a recent graduate from a 4-year bachelor’s program in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Material Management, Industrial Management or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership capability in previous work experience and/or extracurriculars
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
• Coachable and self-motivated to learn and exceed your own expectations
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Compensation: $20/hourly
