Product Managers are passionate about building quality products that customers love. This role is responsible for championing the product, understanding the market, developing a strong roadmap to fit market needs, and crafting, designing, implementing and testing solutions in partnership with development teams. Product managers have technical expertise, attention to detail, and are strongly driven to provide positive customer experiences and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the product strategy through evaluating customer, competitive and market data to ensure product features are aligned.
  • Create a roadmap and vision that maximizes customer engagement, customer satisfaction, and aims to solve Talent/HR needs.
  • Inform and drive key product decisions through a data driven lens; analyze data and understand user behavior. Establish, track, and report progress on product metrics and KPIs for leadership teams.
  • Contribute deep product knowledge and insight during product roadmap and strategy discussions.
  • Implement best in class product development and management practices into the Product team.
  • Make critical product decisions that optimize for the product’s best interest against concerns of multiple stakeholders.
  • Own and drive major, complex cross-functional product efforts. Enforce the correct scope, flag risks, and coordinate stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross functionally with leadership, engineering, sales, and customer success to deliver value to users through product launches.
  • Educate, mentor and train team members across the company on product methodology and philosophy.
  • Communicate product roadmap, learnings, advocate for new features, and write/maintain documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Be willing to attend industry events to showcase the product and network with prospective customers.
  • Assist in product implementations if necessary, whether in a hands on solutioning role or a project management role.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager delivering complex, technical product features for a SaaS software company.
  • Experience in talent or HRIS softwares and the HR technology market.
  • A proven track record for full lifecycle product management developing products from concept to launch for large scale initiatives.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully bringing novel products to market, such as those that integrate new technologies or start new categories.
  • Experience working with agile or scrum teams from product design through feature delivery.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards with no supervision. Ability to effectively manage against timelines, deadlines, and goals.
  • Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client satisfaction; strong client focus with the ability to understand client needs and build relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Enterprise customers and colleagues in a remote working environment.
  • Experience implementing complex, practical business solutions under competing deadlines and priorities while keeping a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change.
  • Ability to meet travel requirements (<5% a year).
