Procurement Manager

To support the Procurement department, we are looking for an ambitious Procurement Manager (m/f/d) for our client, a Swiss company with their HQ in the greater area of Lucerne, either immediately or by agreement.

In this demanding job, the Procurement Manager will fulfill a central key role for our client. You are the Procurement Manager in a very exciting high-tech environment and manage the procurement and operations of product lines for its international network.

Key Responsibilities:

-Responsible for active and successful supplier management
-Ensuring optimal procurement of components and conducting contract and price negotiations in the area of ​​responsibility
-Monitoring costs and processing invoices in cooperation with the accounting department
-Implementation of the purchasing strategy, taking future-oriented supply chain management into account
-Deputizing and supporting the team leader
-Actively involved in improving procurement processes and managing cross-departmental projects

Key Requirements:

-Commercial or technical basic training with further training in the field of purchasing or several years of experience in operational and strategic purchasing
-Degree from a higher technical college, technical college or university is desired
-Experienced in handling the SAP MM module and good knowledge of MS Office tools
-Business fluent English (C1) in word and writing
-Interest in leadership topics and a positive and appreciative approach to people
-Independent, resilient personality with assertiveness, negotiating skills and entrepreneurial thinking
