Procurement Administration Assistant Location: UK flexile – home or local BRC office Hours: 35 hours per week Contract: Fixed Term 12 months Salary: Up to £18600 per annum

Why does this role matter?

You’ll be crucial in facilitating the smooth running of the procurement team at the British Red Cross. You’ll complete a wide range of administrative tasks to support the Corporate Procurement team in data collection and information gathering for reporting as well as the procurement systems management.

What you’ll be doing…

– Administration – Monitor and maintain the Corporate Procurement Team inbox and Assyst Team page, screen incoming emails and events, respond to routine sales calls and requests for information, and redirect to the relevant Specialist if required. Managing and maintaining Corporate Procurement Repository Process and System. – Reporting – Support with reporting by working with Specialist and Senior Specialist quarterly to gather required data from other teams and support in communicating the Procurement Dashboard quarterly.

What we’re looking for…

– Analytical Skills & fluency in Excel – Administration skills and experience, ideally in procurement or logistics – Strong organisation and proactive work ethic – Keen to learn and develop in the team
