Process Engineering Intern (Summer 2023)

• Monitor important process settings to allow engineers to determine if process is out of control before major excursion.
• Determine if ETC specs are correct for current product and capability of current machines to accurately measure books.
• Determine current capability to insert M18 plug to process spec and determine if process spec is achievable.
• Redesign heat seal components/find process to properly align heat seal.

How You Will Do It

• Assisting with ignition pages for each area to act as process dashboard.
• Processing capability charts and analysis of book thickness vs spec.
• Studying capability charts for 5 plug inserters, MSA for M18 plug insertion gauges, and DOE for plug inserter settings.
• Designing changes for heat seal components; fixture and process for aligning cover, container and plate to ensure alignment, and lock in place.

What We Look For

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
• Pursuing an undergraduate in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical and/or Electrical Engineering.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
• Duration: Summer 2023. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available.
• Working Arrangements: On-site based at our manufacturing facility in Toledo, OH
