About the team:
The Private Markets Research Analyst will serve as part of a global data team that is responsible for connecting private markets investment information across a variety of platforms. The Data team is dedicated to developing best-in-class data collection operations and technology to identify new sources of data, automate the collection of information and integrate the discovered data across our product offering.
The role of Analysts is vital: analyze private markets investment fund data and extract high-level information, draw connections to similar portfolio strategies across a variety of sources, and conduct continuous process improvement to help the team reach its goals.
Private Equity Research Analysts will be expected to:
- Work as part of a global team focused on building and maintaining databases to support industry-leading investing due diligence platform.
- Perform research and analysis of different segments of the Private Market’s investment offerings to promote understanding of and tailor data mapping to the qualities unique to each type.
- Conduct regular database quality audits and develop strategies for improving operations to ensure data integrity.
- Receive regular training from industry experts within the Data team.
- Participate in Global initiatives to develop data products, devise strategies for enhanced data integration, and provide insights to guide the development of next-generation data cleansing technology.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics;
- Experience Preferred: 2-7 years
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial markets (Private Equity, Private Credit, Alternative Investments, Equities, Fixed Income, Real Estate, different indexes, and geographic regions)
- Experience searching and analyzing government regulatory documents, asset manager websites, financial data vendors such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Morningstar, Preqin, Reuters.h
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail by carefully monitoring the accuracy of own and others’ work;
- Ability to quickly learn and implement new concepts;
- Above-average to excellent English communication skills, both in oral and written forms;
