This vacancy is an excellent opportunity to join us as a Pricing Specialist in our Global Business Services Offices in Moscow, Russia

The Pricing Specialist partners with the Sales and Marketing teams to execute pricing strategies that drive incremental sales and profit for DRIV Global Aftermarket EMEA. The Employee will work as a specialist and advocate for managing the pricing strategies within the price optimization system.

The Pricing Specialist establishes pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements. She/He conducts research, performs competitive pricing analysis and project impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue.

The specialist is the subject matter specialist of the designated region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement pricing strategy in the region and adopt pricing levels within degrees of freedom to local markets, including periodic review and update product prices.
  • Participate actively in local COMMITTEES where pricing is involved, especially the monthly local pricing and margin committee.
  • Local contribution is given to the central Strategic Project periodically launched.
  • Reports monthly to the central pricing committee.
  • Work closely with the Strategic pricing managers for cross-border price-setting before local implementation. Follow recommended European corridor Price.
  • Analyze regional and researching price and rebate conditions (market & competitors). Provide pricing and rebate recommendations for new and existing. Rebate accruals % stays the responsibility of local finance.
  • Elaborate analyses of all components of sales (end-user prices) and margin in a high-volume automotive, industrial environment.
  • Analyzes requested changes and recommends changes to current pricing based on salesforce input, market research, profitability analysis, modeling, trends, and overall strategic direction of the company.
  • Understand price elasticity by product and category, enabling the company to make effective and profit-maximizing pricing decisions.
  • Communicate to customers new End User pricing results to become in force
  • Calculate pricing effects and rebate levels for regional promotions; make regular tracks of them.
  • Ensure transparency about the profitability of each product line in the region
  • Use standard dashboards/reporting mechanisms to report to Management.
  • Provide comprehensive explanation of variances about increase plan to Management, local and central pricing committee.
  • Represents regional pricing towards other functions in the region. In addition, the local contribution is given by central for special projects periodically launched.
  • Customer visits for pricing information or share strategic changes of pricing structure (main Fairs and Exhibition are attended to this aim).

Required Experience

What will make you successful

  • 4+ years of experience in Strategic Retail Marketing and/or Pricing position, or Finance experience, with retail automotive pricing and/or operations experience – preferably prior experience in preparation of price analysis and proposal within a multinational company
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, Research, Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics
  • Microsoft Office with emphasis on well developed Excel and PowerPoint skills – preferable prior experience with SAP or PowerBI
