Summary: The Cost & Pricing (C&P) team is one of the driving forces behind Creative’s growth, working alongside business development and technical experts to produce budgets and narratives in response to funder solicitations. The C&P team seeks an intern to support the C&P Manager in day-to-day administrative tasks and activities. If you are currently completing your undergraduate or graduate degree program and are ready to kickstart your career in finance or international development and build real-world experience with budgeting, proposal development, regulatory compliance, and working within teams, this is the internship for you.

Reporting & Supervision: This position will not have supervisory responsibilities. C&P Intern will report to the C&P Manager in the Finance & Contracts Division.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to the Cost & Pricing and Financial Planning & Analysis teams;
  • Supports the Cost & Pricing team in developing proposal budgets;
  • Conducts cost research and collected needed budget inputs at the direction of the C&P team;
  • Assists in writing of portions budget narratives;
  • Supports the Financial Planning & Analysis team as needed;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications– In final year of study towards undergraduate degree (Business/Finance, Economics, or related majors preferred);

  • Ability to maintain a professional/office environment, even when working remotely (experience in an office environment preferred);
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency with Excel;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.

The Salary Range for this position is expected to be: $20 – $25 per hour.

An employee’s pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
