Our client, a leading manufacturer of nuts & dried fruits across the Middle East and Africa region (MEA), existing in this region for over than 20 years, is looking for a highly experienced and enthusiastic finance professional, who will be responsible for establishing standard Pricing Practices and uniform price reporting for the Group.
Some of the main responsibilities include:
• Assess competition segmentation & positioning
• Define the positioning (leader or challenger) per territory, channel and category
• Communicate & update pricing policies
• Follow-up price survey collection with Sales team
• Update price recommendation as per policy & schedule, keeping in mind margin objectives (products & packaging material)
• Estimate margin, volume & value impacts
• Verify price execution with sales team
Prepare monthly reporting, KPIs & Index
• Highlight low margin contributors to Operations, Marketing & Sales Team
• Identify low margins per channel, chain, customers
• Identify margin opportunities
• Analyse volume elasticity vs price variation
• Monitor average price per kg / categories
• Analyse Net price / Trade Cost waterfall
• Support Trade Agreements negotiation
• Recommend New Products positioning
• Assist Sales team for tenders preparation (Private Label, Food Service)
• Analyse investments ROI pre & post analysis (Trade Assets, Listing Fees, Opening Fees, Promotions…)
• Review Commercial P&L with Finance, Sales & Marketing (channel, countries, chain, customers, categories…)
• Analyse Souq Counters profitability by category & by sqm
• Consolidate Budget & Forecast value, volume, margin
• Propose & monitor Trade Incentives scheme
• Stay aware of raw material variations
• Update monthly WAC comparison vs market price (bulk market).

Product and Market knowledge: Food industry, Consumer Goods, Horeca
Passion for Analyses & strong Excel skills
IT/Computer: MS OFFICE + AX / Microsoft 365
