Practice Placement Education Lead

The Practice Education Team are seeking to appoint a band 7 Allied Health Professional to work with the Practice Education Team for 4 days per week.

The main functions of the post are to work closely with local universities and CNTW colleagues in the placement and education of students in allied health professions.

You will be part of a team that supports the experiential training of nursing and allied health professions students across CNTW.

You will be responsible for a specified group of allied health professions students. Your remit is to assist with sourcing their clinical placements within the trust.

You will work collaboratively with academic, NHS, social care and third sector colleagues.

You will provide coaching and deliver practice assessor/supervisor training to enable registrants to meet the needs of students and nursing apprentices.

You will develop and maintain excellent, pro-active working relationships with all stakeholders and contribute to placement capacity expansion.

You will be part of the practice education team based at St Nicholas Hospital. Our collective remit is to facilitate the experiential learning of all nursing and allied health professions in CNTW. We are an expanding team with growing responsibilities and opportunities within the trust.
