Clear-Com, a trusted global provider of real-time communication solutions, is seeking a PR and Social Media Specialist to lead our PR initiatives and maintain a strong social media presence. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all PR activities for the company, including media relationships, press release writing, and editorial feature development. Additionally, you will engage with partners to strategically position us as industry leaders through awards, events, and other editorial opportunities.

In conjunction with the Marketing and Brand Manager, you will also support the strategic direction of the company’s social media initiatives.

What you will do in this position as a PR Specialist:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with our PR Agency while you develop an in-depth understanding of our business to position us as industry leaders.
  • Craft and track compelling press releases.
  • Create engaging story angles to secure editorial features and news items and pitch exclusive coverage to industry publications.
  • Monitor press coverage to engage with partners and end-users.
  • Collaborate with designers to create graphics for press stories, news, events, and awards.
  • Conduct research to identify story leads and secure imagery rights and to discover prospective editorial opportunities and speaking engagements.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, serving as their primary PR contact.
  • Manage award submissions and deadlines.
  • Maintain media lists and nurture relationships with key editors.

What you will do in this position to support other marketing initiatives:

  • Strategically manage daily social media activities, ensuring brand consistency and engagement.
  • Execute comprehensive strategies for increased brand awareness and audience engagement, including pre-trade and webinar promotion plans.
  • Provide insightful monthly reports on social media performance, including coverage, engagement, and trend analysis.
  • Coordinate customer case study videos, including developing initial video outlines.
  • Manage internal and agency press meetings during tradeshows, providing support for onsite press meetings, and assisting staff during tradeshow hours.

What Experience Is Essential To This Position

  • Minimum 5+ years of PR experience, preferably in B2B communications.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Strong project management abilities.
  • Familiarity with PR and Social Media best practices.
  • Self-driven and comfortable collaborating with diverse teams.

What Experience Is Needed In This Position

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Creative problem solver with a proactive mindset.
  • Proficiency in third-party publishing tools like Hootsuite.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% (domestic and international).

Pay Range: $82,575.00 to $110,100.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, life insurance, and 401k contributions.
