This role is being advertised as a three-month internship; however, there might be opportunities to stay on past that point if all goes well.
About The Role
If you have aspirations of one day becoming the next António Guterres (Secretary-General of the UN), this could be the perfect role for you! As a PR Intern, you will be responsible for a number of things, including:
- Account management – ensuring your clients know what’s going on and why.
- In press and political monitoring – understanding what’s going on in the news and how it may affect your clients.
- Communications strategies and tactics – applying new ways of thinking to old problems.
What You’re Good At
- Talking the talk – you have a demonstrable interest in politics, international relations and/or economics.
- Walking the walk – you’re smart and have achievements (academic and/or extracurricular) to prove it.
- Being an all-round PR superstar – you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an attitude to match!
