Job Overview:
The Innovation Engineer for Insight Global’s Managed Services Division is primarily a technical role focused on the creation, implementation, and administration of technical solutions within Power Apps and with other tools as necessary. As an Innovation Engineer, you will be designing and implementing solutions that are related to innovation or improvement type initiatives within MSD. You will be leading initiatives or working as part of a larger team building and delivering solutions. In addition to developing forms, workflows, flows, business rules, java script, canvas and model apps, you will also be responsible for maintenance and administration as well as training and documentation as needed.
Specific Duties & Job Responsibilities:
- The Innovation Engineer will work side by side with the rest of the Innovation and Improvement team, taking guidance from senior members of the team to assist in developing and delivering services.
Responsibilities will include
- Consulting with stakeholders to understand goals, requirements and constraints for ideas or needs they have with Power Apps, Dynamics 365, Flow, Azure, SharePoint, PowerBI or assigned work efforts
- Analyzing technology trends to identify opportunities for new initiatives or improvements
- Developing forms, code (java script), apps (Canvas and Model), automations (workflows, Power Automate, Business Rules), notifications, reports and other materials
- Troubleshooting issues and providing resolutions
- Assisting with administrative type tasks for in place solutions
- Supporting the implementation of approved initiatives
- Documentation of a wide variety of processes, procedures, guidelines, technical specs, training materials and other items as necessary
- Assisting in the production of thought leadership materials and knowledge share sessions
Must Haves
- Technical expertise in common MSD systems and solutions (Office 365, Dynamics, PowerApps, Flow, Azure)
- Ability to troubleshoot, investigate and resolve technical issues
- Prior analysis, design and implementation background
- Experience in developing technical requirements based on business goals and objectives
- Ability to learn quickly
