The post holder will need to be a flexible and proactive individual capable of working on their own initiative and as an effective team member. They will have excellent presentation skills and the ability, empathy, and experience to engage with young people. They will also be able to build and nurture relationships with stakeholders in sixth forms and colleges with the core aim of strengthening the image and perception of NTU. Other responsibilities will include supporting the Post 16 Outreach and Recruitment Team with the development of new and existing activities, representing NTU at nationwide education events and recording data.
The post-holder will be expected to travel across wide areas of the UK throughout the year. The role involves substantial periods away from the office and over-night stays.
Candidates should be educated to degree level and will ideally have some experience of working with young people in an education setting; however, this is not essential. They must be confident managing groups in a classroom setting and delivering presentations to large audiences with the aim of influencing their decision making about their university choices.
