Portland Public Schools (PPS) is actively seeking an Electric Shop Foreperson who would be the first line supervisor for the craftsmen of this trade and would be responsible for the development of a work plan for the efficient accomplishment of the scheduled work established by the Senior Program Manager of the Electrical Department. You would direct daily work production consistent with the established work plan and would be charged with assuring the compliance of the workforce to District work rules, safety practices, standards, policies and procedures, and to all applicable federal, state and local codes. You would be the primary contact for the City of Portland Master Electrical Permit program, and perform any necessary field visits required. You would be responsible for maintaining a consistently high level of workforce productivity and executes all work assignments with craftsmanship, skills, and knowledge expected of a competent trade foreman.Portland Public Schools is an equal opportunity employer.
