Job Description

We are looking for a bright resource to join our Planning Home & Personal Care team, who will be based in Nova Milanese, as Contractors Planning Specialist for Manetti & Roberts.

The resource will be part of the Planning team within the Supply Chain function. The person, supporting the Planning Manager, will be in charge of planning the supply of finished products from third-party manufacturers and from the internal factory to the Italian and international markets of Manetti & Roberts for different products of the Pharma and Personal Care Department.

The resource will be integrated in a multifunctional operational team and will have specific responsibilities, from the first day in the company, with the aim of reaching and supporting business needs, through a continuous improvement approach.

Main activities

  • Creation of monthly production plans in relation to forecast and stock level. Stabilize the trade-off between inventory levels and service to customers
  • Sustain Project Management for new products according to time launch with study of implications on the supply chain
  • Scheduling production activities for seasonal products
  • Support crisis mitigation and issue resolution involving supply chain shortfalls
  • eCommerce supply management
  • KPIs analysis in order to check and be compliant with S&OP Bolton’s process
  • Supply Review process (step 3 of S&OP), by escalating production planning constraints and issues, gaps vs forecast, and what-if scenarios
  • Constant interaction with stakeholders: company’s internal functions (Procurement, Finance, Project Dpt., Marketing, Trade Marketing, R&D) and externals, including third-party manufacturers, providers and logistics companies
  • Carry out specific analyses to validate plans feasibility in a medium and long term period

Requirements

  • Degree in Management Engineering or Economics/Mathematics
  • Previous experience of 2-3 years in the field of Supply Chain/Supply Planning in a structured multinational context, preferably in the Beauty Industry
  • Excellent command of Italian and English (an experience abroad will be considered a plus)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office package, in particular Excel, and SAP software
