Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, Burbank office of our client seeks a plaintiff’s personal injury associate attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience. The candidate will represent clients in personal injury accidents, premises liability, auto, slip & fall, motorcycle, wrongful death and medical malpractice. Manage a heavy caseload, ensuring all assigned cases move forward in a timely manner and within deadlines. Draft pleadings and complaints, file lawsuits, perform legal research, draft motions, propound and respond to discovery, calendar, prepare mediation briefs, and trial prep. Take and defend depositions. Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in Court. Strategically litigate cases by obtaining key evidence to work up a case file. Negotiate and settle cases. Provide excellent service to all clients. Must have an admission to California State Bar/Additional Skills: The candidate must have a JD degree. Must be able to work under strict deadlines.
