HI, founded in 1982 in Cambodia and working today in more than 60 countries, is an independent and impartial aid organization working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict, and disaster. HI works alongside people with disabilities and vulnerable populations, taking action and bearing witness in order to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.

In Cambodia, 3 projects are currently implemented in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Kampong Cham, Tboung Khmum, Takeo, Prey Veng, Siem Reap, and Kratie provinces.

  • SHARE project comprises two components:
  1. Inclusive Education (IE) component: ensuring accessibility of inclusive education for people with disabilities, particularly girls.
  2. Rehabilitation (REHAB) component: increasing access to quality rehabilitation services and strengthening referral with the health system.
  • Accessibility project: accessibility promotion for an Inclusive and Supportive Environment for All. The accessibility project promotes and disseminates the national accessibility guidelines, as well as disability inclusion
  • Development And Risk Management (DARM) project: supporting long-term development and risk management of the Cambodian Self-Help Demining Organization.

HI is recruiting one qualified candidate to fulfill the following post:

Position: Physiotherapist (1 position)

Location: Kampong Cham

Contract Type: Unspecified Duration Contract (UDC)

Working Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Expected starting date: As soon as possible

Salary and Benefits Package: Salary rank is between USD 386 to USD 425 (C) based on the candidate’s profile and other benefits are in accordance with HI’s remuneration policy.

Reporting to the head of PT unit, the Physiotherapist contributes to the implementation of rehabilitation service provision at Kampong Cham PRC with technical and financial support from Humanity & Inclusion in Cambodia. This position is based in Kampong Cham working closely with the head of PT, PO and Social work team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide physiotherapy (PT) with quality to the PRC’s clients in respect of the PRC client flow and PT standards.
  • Provide the physiotherapy service through the open telerehabilitation app and follow up with them weekly ensuring clients and caregivers understand and know how to use the open-Tele-rehabilitation app properly.
  • Work closely with PO and social worker team to conduct outreach activities including mobile small repair.
  • Ensure the safety and hygiene of the PT treatment room and gait training area
  • Participate in the improvement of the quality of services at the PRC

Experiences and Qualifications:

  • Physiotherapy certificate
  • Minimum of 1-year practical experience in physiotherapy
  • Interpersonal communication
  • Good behavior towards people with disabilities, children and women.
