GFI APAC
- Influential position at forefront of the sustainable protein movement
- Newly created role with a focus on major donors in expanding INGO
- Enjoy high visibility
The Organisation
Headquartered in Singapore—the first nation on Earth to grant regulatory approval for commercial sales of a cultivated meat product—the Good Food Institute Asia Pacific (GFI APAC) is Asia’s leading alternative protein think tank, accelerating a shift away from conventional meat production through open-access food science R&D, corporate engagement, and policy advocacy.
GFI APAC is at the forefront of the movement to use food technology to replace the products of industrial animal agriculture with plant-based, fermentation-derived, and cultivated meat, eggs, dairy, and seafood. With expertise across the scientific, regulatory, industry, and investment landscape, GFI APAC aims to expedite the growth of the entire alternative protein sector. Their work scope spans innovation hubs across the Asia Pacific region, with particular emphasis on Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand, with independent strategic partners in mainland China and Australia.
GFI APAC is part of a global network of non-profits that are creating systematic change beyond Asia, in Brazil, Europe, India, Israel, and the US, with over 130 staff and counting.
