Location: Flexible, with regular travel to our London Head Office
Contract type: Permanent
Hours per week: £24,868 – £27,774 Per Annum based on 35 hours per week (plus inner London weighting allowance of £3,344, if applicable)

Fundraising is critical to enabling our services that help people in crisis in the UK and overseas. The Major Giving team works with individual philanthropists, trusts, and foundations to secure much-needed funding.
You will be at the centre of our team, supporting us to secure philanthropic supporters and deliver high quality relationship management.
A day in the life of a Philanthropy Coordinator will involve:

You’ll help to ensure processes and systems are effective and efficient
Field queries, handle financial reconciliation, and support the delivery of donor communications and events
You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including donor intermediaries, and other internal departments.
This role would be perfect for someone looking to start or progress a career in fundraising or the charity sector. You’ll benefit from supportive, on-the-job training plus structured internal and external development opportunities.

To be a successful Philanthropy Coordinator, You’ll:

Be a confident, clear, and persuasive communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications and other IT skills
Build strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Be organised and able to manage your workload within deadlines
Have knowledge of fundraising, event management, marketing, and/or communications
Work effectively on your own and as part of a team
