Locations: Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain or Malta; mostly remote

Our client is a global CDMO, they are supporting their customers all the way from APIs to final product production for the pharmaceutical industry. They stand out by passion for developing the best solution tailored to specific customer needs, have a dynamic and supportive working environment.

Now they are growing and looking for an enthusiastic business development expert. In this strategic role, you’ll be involved in identifying and acquiring target customers for a wide spectrum of different drug substances projects globally.

PURPOSE

At this point, you should be already excited to make a difference!

To elaborate on the fulfilling projects you’ll be working on, you’ll be managing the following processes:

_Strategic identification of new business areas and customer acquisition globally for drug substance development and manufacturing

_Leading cross-functional teams in project management, development, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, logistics, engineering, and managing timelines

_Liaising with customers on drug substances projects, maintaining and developing existing customer relationships

_Leading terms negotiation and budget planning, setting and implementing sales targets

_Active involvement in data-driven marketing campaigns and competitor analysis

_Internal drug substance process optimization, increasing businees efficiency

Requirements

_Degree in Life Sciences/ Engineering

_Strong experience in APIs or generic pharmaceutical industry, ideally in Sales/ Business Development or in R&D/ Manufacturing/ Project Management with solid understanding of CDMO business processes

_Expertise in regulatory requirements

_Eligibility to work in Switzerland/ EU

_Flexibility to travel (approx. 30%)
