Then we want to talk with you about our Personal Insurance Assistant position, a key role in servicing personal insurance accounts and the success of our agency! We strive to provide exceptional customer service and are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team.

Main responsibilities are to:

  • Answer service-related customer phone calls and handle service requests such as billing, payments by phone, address changes, requests for auto I.D. cards, evidence of insurance.
  • Process quotes for all lines of business,
  • Verify insurance coverage for banks, mortgage companies and automobile dealers.
  • Monitor cancellation notices; enter in activity; create suspense item for follow-up.
  • Assemble and present new business proposals.
  • Perform customer record maintenance.
  • Monitor renewal report for possible missed renewals and alert agent.
  • Monitor expiration report for round-up opportunities and alert agent.
  • Develop and maintain familiarity with insurance companies’ websites.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Excellent communications skills – listening, verbal, writing
  • A professional manner and attention to details
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, handle interruptions and get back on track
  • Able to assess customers’ circumstances, ask appropriate questions and evaluate needs
  • Able to provide insurance information in a manner that customers understand (explaining policies, coverage, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Super dedication to helping customers and teammates
  • Strong computer skills

Benefits:

  • This position is full-time: 30-40 hours per week; work hours are M – Th: 7:30-5:00; Friday: 8:00-12:00
