The candidate will manage an assigned caseload from inception to case conclusion. Will maintain and promote excellent relationships with Clients. Manage assigned paralegals and staff for optimal performance and productivity. Assign work, and responsibility for the development, coaching, training, and mentoring of staff to achieve optimal case management. Settlement of cases, consulting with other firm attorneys on case strategies. Participation in weekly firm meetings including statute list reviews, case reviews, and other strategic conferences. Prepare and complete necessary work on cases for optimal case resolution including pre-suit activities, suit, discovery, retention of necessary experts, preparations of witnesses for testimony, and necessary motion practice and coordination of cases from start to finish. Provide legal representation for clients, including trying cases in all courts and agencies, and related legal advice and services. Responsible for compliance with all ethical requirements for the profession. Perform other duties as assigned. Should have experience in negotiation, case management, and strong interpersonal skills.
