Overall description:

We are looking for an AVP in Montreal to support and grow our global team between the US and Canada. We are looking for an empathetic, thoughtful candidate who has enthusiasm for helping people, as well as expertise in digital means to meet the needs of a global and growing structure.

The Enterprise Services team encompasses Premises, Enterprise Data Management Solutions, Group Strategic Sourcing, Third Party Management Office and Location Strategy for CIB Americas.

The Quality and Performance Improvement Project manager will have the objective to actively support strategic initiatives across Enterprise Services in various capacities including high level governance oversight, advisory to project and hands on project management to optimize Enterprise Services set up (via Identification & Execution of Efficiencies & Digital solutions for Enterprise Services scope)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute change roadmap for Enterprise Services in support of Ambition 2025
    • Provide guidance and support to the CIB Americas Enterprise Services Management team through project and change management
    • Identify and execute impactful change management and process improvement initiatives within Enterprise Services and track and monitor change with specific KPIs
  • Contribute to the execution of the CIB Americas strategy
    • through the identification of solutions to bridge gaps in system functionality aiming to reduce time and risk associated with manual manipulation (via macros, data aggregation platforms, workflow tools, Data Visualization tools such as Power BI, minor IT developments)
    • either by directly implementing the solution or partnering with Digital Leads or coaching operational teams to enable them to carry out the execution
  • Manage Optimization Projects covering the following activities :
    • Process assessment of identified areas within Enterprise Services / BNP Paribas, including identification of scope to leverage better solutions, roadmap definition & business case
    • Work closely with teams to define best strategies and challenge them in terms of best practices, operating set up & methodology
    • Organize and prepare Project and Steering Committees, including documentation and preparation of meetings
    • Produce project reports; request, collect, analyze, query, verify consistency and completeness and integrate weekly status reports from project work streams
    • Monitor projects deliverables, timeline, risks and dependencies with project managers to ensure the completeness and adequacy of deliverables

Education/Experience:

  • BA or MS in engineering, Finance, business or related discipline coupled with excellent academic credentials
  • At least 3/5 years’ experience, with a minimum of 3 years in complex process reengineering or transformation projects
  • Track record of working on large complex assignments
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced technical skills particularly working with Excel spreadsheets and databases
  • Basic knowledge of VBA, Python, Alteryx and PowerBi is required
